Enter structured customer and product records field by field into a database format — used in CRM, ERP, and e-commerce operations.
Read the source record on the left and enter each field on the right exactly as shown.
Database entry involves entering structured records into CRM systems, ERP platforms, or spreadsheet databases. Each record has multiple fields with specific format requirements — names in title case, dates in a specific format, phone numbers with country codes, email addresses in lowercase. This is used in e-commerce, HR departments, and product companies. Accuracy with formats matters as much as speed.
Each field in a database has an expected format — date, string, number, email. Entering in the wrong format causes import errors even if the data itself is correct.
Database entry requires entering all required fields — skipping optional-looking fields that are actually mandatory causes record rejection.
Names, cities, and addresses must be entered consistently across all records — inconsistent formatting breaks search and reporting functions.
Moving between database fields using Tab rather than clicking with the mouse is a significant speed multiplier in high-volume entry work.
